Alabama Nursery & Landscape Association

The Alabama Nursery & Landscape Association (ALNLA) is a professional trade association proudly serving Alabama’s Green Industry since 1951. Our membership is comprised of ornamental plant producers, retail garden centers, landscape installation and maintenance contractors, irrigation contractors, landscape designers, researchers, allied businesses, and others who support our mission to improve the success and professionalism of the industry. Our most recent Economic Impact Study indicates the green industry contributes 2.9 billion dollars and nearly 44,000 jobs to the state economy annually. To maintain such a significant impact, ALNLA serves the industry by facilitating a business network for industry peers, offering professional development & CEU opportunities, and providing members with legislative updates and advocacy efforts. Together, we can accomplish goals that might be impossible for an individual business alone.

The ALNLA, along with the nursery and landscape associations of Mississippi & Louisiana, partner to produce the Gulf States Horticultural Expo (GSHE) held each January in Mobile, AL. At the Expo, industry professionals can attend educational seminars on topics selected to help you do business better, learn about new plants and products, get face time with decision makers, and so much more! GSHE, with over 350 exhibitors and 2,500 attendees annually, is a must attend regional event located at the Mobile Convention Center. For more information visit GSHE.org.

ALNLA Scholarship Program

The ALNLA Scholarship Fund was established to promote interest in the field of ornamental horticulture. Each January, several deserving young men and women are awarded scholarships to encourage their continued study. This annual investment in the future of our industry would not be possible without the continued contributions of our generous members. More details on the scholarship and how to apply can be found here.
